BLACK AND WHITE AND STRIPED ALL OVER
THIS DRAWING I DID OF A BODY-MAP DRESS FROM THEIR FAMOUS "CAT IN THE HAT" COLLECTION IS A PERSONAL FAV OF MINE. I HAD ORIGINALLY DRAWN IT WITH A STRIPED BACKGROUND TO MATCH THE STRIPED DRESS SHE'S WEARING, BUT HATED THE WAY IT TURNED OUT SO IT'S BEEN SITTING AT THE BOTTOM OF A PILE OF OLD PAINTINGS FOR YEARS. I PULLED IT OUT RECENTLY, CUT OUT THE FIGURE, SCANNED HER AND CLEANED IT UP, AND THEN JUST ADDED A SIMPLE LETRATONE DOT PATTERN. I THINK IT LOOKS A LOT BETTER THIS WAY. IT ALSO GOES TO SHOW YOU THAT IF YOU KEEP AT IT YOU CAN SOLVE ANY DESIGN PROBLEM YOU MAY COME UP AGAINST, NO MATTER HOW MANY YEARS IT TAKES!
