HORSE FACE

HERE, AT LAST, IS THE LONG AWAITED CENTAR GIRL I POSTED ABOUT AWHILE BACK! I DID THIS PAINTING YEARS AGO AND FOUND IT RECENTLY AMONGST A PILE OF OLD ARTWORK. IT WAS A PART OF A WHOLE SERIES I WAS PLANNING ON DOING ABOUT MYTHOLOGY CREATURES, BUT THIS ONE AND MY 'MERMAID GIRL' ARE THE ONLY TWO THAT EVER MADE IT TO PAPER. I WILL COMPLETE MY MEDUSA PAINTING ONE OF THESE DAYS AND POST IT HERE FOR YOU KIDS.

I LOVE ALL THAT 'CLASH OF THE TITANS', 'JASON AND THE ARGONAUTS' TYPE STUFF. IT'S ALWAYS BEEN AN INFLUENCE IN MY WORK. I LOVE TO GO SEE GREEK STATUES AND PAINTINGS AT THE MUSEUM. THE WING OF GREEK ARTWORK AT THE BRITISH MUSEUM ( YOU KNOW THE ONE, WHERE THEY STOLE ALL THE ART FROM GREECE AND PUT IT IN THEIR POMPAS MUSEUM) IS MY FAV PLACE TO WALK AROUND ON A LAZY DAY. WHO DOSEN'T LOVE A NAKED ARES STATUE?
