PIERRE CARDIN

MR. CARDIN'S WORK IN THE 60'S IS A PERSONAL FAVORITE OF MINE. IT'S LIKE HE BROUGHT ON EPISODE OF 'THE JETSONS' TO LIFE WITH ALL HIS WACKY, MOD, OUT-THERE CLOTHING. WHEN WE THINK 60'S CLOTHING, WE GENERALLY THINK OF CARDIN OR HIS COMPATRIOT, ANDRES COURREGES. IT IS A TESTAMENT TO THEIR WORK THAT WE STILL SEE IT AS RELEVANT TODAY.

I DID THIS QUICK DRAWING WITH MARKERS ON BRISTOL BOARD, INSPIRED BY AN OLD FASHION PHOTO.
